About the Automation Maintenance Lead Role:
As an integral part of the Supply Chain team, you will oversee the optimization and upkeep of our automation systems. This includes building and leading a team of technicians to ensure minimal disruptions to our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage a team of automation and maintenance technicians
Implement and oversee preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on storage, equipment, and packaging machinery
Diagnose and repair complex logistics and packaging equipment malfunctions
Utilize statistical methods to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions
Modify robotic and automation systems for improved performance
Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies for all automation equipment and processes
Generate reports on system performance, breakdowns, and spare parts inventory
Work closely with IT, operations, and vendor teams to resolve issues and optimize system performance
Oversee automation project implementation and handover to operations
Lead the team in developing work instructions, safety assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives
Identify and resolve process bottlenecks, developing contingency plans as needed
Manage departmental budget

Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering (or related field)
Minimum 3 years of experience in automation system maintenance for logistics
Proven experience in robotics and industrial engineering project implementation
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience with goods-to-person systems, warehouse control systems, WMS integration software, ASRS, conveyors, lifting systems, and warehouse management systems in cold chain environments
Hands-on experience with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems
Proficiency in automation operation software
Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
