My client is a MNC company, in the energy industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- To assist in full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within the APAC region.
- To support and provide innovative tax strategies for the countries where the company operates and to assist in the reviewing of complex income tax returns.
- To assist in identifying and mitigating potential tax risks.
- Assist in managing tax provision and tax compliance process.
- Proactively manage the relationships with local authorities and agencies, including local tax incentives.
- Liaison with Group Transfer Pricing team to ensure local requirements and obligations are fully met.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree holder in an accounting or business discipline. Professional tax qualification is highly preferred (CPA, ACCA, CIMA, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years of tax experience working as a tax professional within industry or commerce (in house corporate tax experience + tax firm experience is preferred).
- Strong knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance and all types of tax returns (preferably in the Manufacturing space).
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
