Senior Operations Manager

• Spearhead and oversee day-to-day operations at cold chain and e-commerce distribution centers, ensuring cost efficiency, process optimization, and adherence to quality standards for temperature-sensitive products
• Manage Profit & Loss, budgeting, and cost controls by developing and implementing distribution strategies, policies, and processes
• Lead and mentor the operations team, fostering effective management and adaptation to changes in Cold Chain and e-Commerce operations
• Implement stock management processes/tools to prevent loss, ensure accurate stock counts, and investigate any discrepancies
• Plan and direct the operations team to ensure operational effectiveness, safety compliance, and quality certifications
• Continuously improve operational processes, mitigate risks, and enhance overall productivity of distribution centers
• Achieve cost efficiency through strategic negotiations with third-party providers and contractors.
• Resolve business issues with Operations Management, seeking solutions without complicating processes, and escalate when necessary
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Director of Operations to drive growth and development of the distribution centers
• Guide and supervise operations-related projects, including warehouse migration and automation implementation
• Coach and lead direct reports, providing feedback for skill development and improved work performance
• Develop and implement business strategies for seamless logistics operations, focusing on day-to-day fulfillment and last-mile deliveries
• Achieve optimal productivity and KPIs in transport operations, including FFS (Fulfillment from Store) operations.
• Improve service levels, meet business targets, and oversee relationship management with contractors and key vendors
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across transport operations and manage support functions such as operations administration
• Oversee hiring, training, and development plans for the transport operations team to ensure a high-performing workforce
• Manage vehicle maintenance and repair procedures, collaborating with the Tech and Innovation team for innovative technology solutions

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Business, or an Engineering-related field
• Possess a minimum of 8 to 10 years of Logistics/Supply Chain experience in e-commerce and/or cold chain environments
• Demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in managing e-commerce, cold chain operations, and last-mile logistics
• Exhibit expertise in warehouse and product quality management, lean management, continuous improvement programs, and tools
• Showcase result-oriented leadership with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and collaborate across business units
• Have a strong business acumen with a demonstrated understanding of the financial aspects of operations and supply chain
• Proven achievements in people management, driving cost effectiveness for CAPEX & OPEX, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and effective change management skills, with prior experience in motivating and developing teams
