A solutions provider to leading pharmaceutical companies and established healthcare institutions globally is looking for a creative and innovative Senior Business Director who will be based in Hong Kong.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of delivery and client satisfaction to ensure business and financial targets are achieved. This position oversees the Hong Kong market, with contributions to regional business and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership of Client Services team to enable the effective management of client accounts to achieve client and business objectives
Lead, motivate and coach the team to exceed client expectations and meet business targets
In collaboration with Singapore and Regional Operations leads, implement systems and processes to ensure efficient delivery to the highest standards.
Monitor and evaluate delivery, taking corrective action as necessary to meet financial targets
In collaboration with the Business Managers, lead new business development activities to ensure continued growth of key accounts and securing new business through industry leading pitches and proposal development
Work closely with the Scientific and Operations lead to effectively manage team capacity and optimize resource utilization to meet or exceed defined profitability targets
Instigate and lead activities to develop the strategic and tactical direction of key accounts in line with organic growth expectations
Develop trusted relationships with clients and maintain a deep understanding of their needs to proactively provide tailored and insightful consultancy on strategic medical communications solutions
Key Requirements:
University Degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) in a scientific subject preferred
At least 10 years of experience in medical communications agency, pharmaceutical industry or equivalent environment, with at least 2 years in an agency
Experience managing direct reports to provide direction, coaching, and mentoring
Strong strategic acumen in helping clients with their business and in leading internal teams to develop strategic plans
Skilled in new/organic business development; can work with team members to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.

Highly organized with attention to detail and excellent quality control skills
