OVERVIEW
Our client, a Japan-origin manufacturer, is looking for a Regional Business Development / Operations Manager for their Singapore HQ.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility 1 — Business Development / Sales (ASEAN / SEA)
Drive business development and sales activities for their buses and related mobility solutions in the ASEAN region
Build and maintain relationships with local partners, customers, government bodies, and related agencies
Conduct market research and formulate regional business strategies
Responsibility 2 — Investor Relations / Fundraising Support
Support investor meetings, business explanations, and negotiation activities
Assist in planning for future fundraising and potential IPO
Organize financial and business information and prepare investor materials
Responsibility 3 — Singapore Office Operations & Global Governance
Oversee overall operations of the Singapore HQ office
Manage relationships and contracts with accountants, lawyers, and external vendors
Ensure compliance with local regulations, employment laws, and corporate governance
Coordinate with Japan HQ and ASEAN subsidiaries to strengthen global operational alignment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have Requirements
Business-level proficiency in English (for investor communication and overseas stakeholders)
Business-level proficiency in Japanese (for HQ liaison and internal communication)
Ability to work in Singapore
Willingness to travel across ASEAN / SEA (1–2 times per month)
Good-to-Have Requirements
Foundation knowledge in finance, investment, or corporate planning
Experience in IR, fundraising, or investor engagement
Experience in EV, mobility, infrastructure, or startup industries
Background in business setup or overseas office operations
BENEFITS
Salary: SGD 7,000 – 11,000 (depending on experience and skills)
Working Hours: 9:00AM-5:00PM (Monday-Friday)
Bonus: Yes (depending on the performance)
