JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and maintain a cloud architecture that is aligned with business objectives.
- Design and deploy scalable, high-performance cloud-based solutions that meet our clients' evolving requirements.
- Develop and execute migration strategies for the transition of on-premises systems to the cloud.
- Specify, create, and implement new cloud-based platforms and services.
- Provide leadership and direction in cloud infrastructure and cloud-native architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement client-specific cloud-based solutions.
- Ensure the cloud-based solutions are compliant, secure, and highly available.
- Participate in cloud planning and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Develop and implement governance practises and standardisation procedures to ensure the integrity and consistency of the cloud architecture.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for process improvement and cloud infrastructure optimisation.
- Work closely with Capco's clients to comprehend their business objectives and provide strategic counsel on leveraging cloud technologies to drive digital transformation in the financial services sector.
- Collaborate with Capco's sales teams to identify new business opportunities and contribute to business development by demonstrating the value of cloud solutions in resolving client challenges.
- Utilise knowledge of the most recent advancements in cloud technologies, industry trends, and best practises to perpetually enhance and improve Capco's cloud architecture offerings.
- Mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership, fostering a culture of learning and development within the Digital, Data, and Technology practise.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, communicating complex technical concepts and business-friendly solutions effectively
- Participate in industry conferences, webinars, and other knowledge-sharing events to represent Capco as a cloud architecture thought leader and enhance the company's market reputation.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 10 years of hands-on solution architect/Cloud experience including planning, deployment, setup, and configuration using AWS/GCP/Azure.
- Associate level “Solution Architect” certification in AWS or equivalent in GCP/Azure.
- Diverse problem-solving experience, such as experience at top management consulting firm, or in business analysis and project management across the Financial Services and/or Insurance sectors.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, including continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, including microservices, containers, and serverless computing
- An outstanding ability to analyze problems, apply quantitative analytical approaches, communicate effectively and confidently, and work well in cross-functional teams whilst shaping senior leadership’s thought process towards data.
- Strong experience in leading teams and communicating with client leaders to influence direction and manage expectations.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
