Our client, Japanese confectionery maker company, is looking to a person for the following position.
Title: Logistics Operation Executive-Japanese Speaking
Job Role:
-Coordinate with Japan HQ, logistics partners, and warehouse team for inventory management, and inspect goods.
-Implement measures to optimize logistics and improve inventory turnover ratio.
-Translate from Japanese to English and from English to Japanese when communicating with the Japan HQ.
-Ad-hoc administration

Requirements:
-Business level Japanese (JLPT N1 level in spoken and written Japanese) :required when communicating with the Japan HQ and Japanese clients.
-Diploma or equivalent in Purchasing/Logistics or minimum 2 years related experience in purchasing, procurement or logistics
-Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
-Physically strong enough to work in a refrigerated room (better to have)

Additional Information:
-Salary: S$3,000-4,000, depending on experience
-AWS and VB :YES (first year bonus will be determined on a case-by-case basis)
-Working hours: 5.5 days a week, M-F 7:30am-4:30pm, Sat 7:30am-11:30am

-They may also ask you to visit warehouse for the purpose of acquainting you with the actual working environment.
