A leading manufacturing company is looking for a Field Engineer this position involves providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for various equipment or systems, ensuring efficient operation and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues on semiconductor equipment and systems, including complex software, computer systems, and networked or wireless systems
- Conduct on-site installations, ongoing improvement programs, parts overhauls, preventive maintenance, modifications, and repairs on equipment
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and customers for administrative and technical matters related to assigned projects
- Coordinate logistics arrangements and collaborate with customers on equipment-related matters
- Address customer complaints promptly, providing timely solutions to resolve issues
- Monitor product performance, deliver regular update reports, and provide feedback on customer service requests
- Report common customer complaints to management for future reference and problem-solving
To succeed as the Field Engineer job, you will entails mastering technical skills, maintaining clear communication with clients, and demonstrating adaptability to various environments while prioritizing problem-solving and customer satisfaction.
Key Requirements:

- Hold a Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Possess at least 2 years of relevant experience with knowledge of semiconductor equipment
- Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate meticulousness, organization, and resourcefulness as a team player
- Be highly motivated to work independently with minimal supervision
- Adapt to working in a cleanroom environment
- Willingness to work or be on standby during after-office hours, weekends, and public holidays
