As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Lead / Senior Research Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
Systematically troubleshoot complex process and equipment issues to ensure operational stability.
Lead the technical assessment, installation, and startup of new advanced processing tools.
Drive Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) focused on optimizing quality, yield, and operational costs.
Develop and implement robust control plans and Out of Control Action Plans (OCAP) to maintain process integrity.
Provide technical training and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and best practices.
Conduct in-depth yield analysis to identify trends and initiate process improvement strategies.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on Research & Development projects to enhance continuous improvement initiatives.
Leverage data analytics and modelling tools to predict potential process deviations and implement preventive measures.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
3 to 5 years of relevant experience in semiconductor process engineering (experience in Wafer/Chip Bonding, Electroplating, Wet/Dry Etch, CMP, Photolithography, or Plasma Deposition is highly preferred).
Proficiency in statistical and analytical tools such as JMP, Minitab, SQL, and Visual Basic.
- Strong knowledge of quality and process methodologies including ISO standards, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), DMAIC, Design of Experiments (DOE), and structured problem-solving techniques.
