Assistant Sales Manager

OVERVIEW

Our client, a specialized Japanese construction firm is looking for an Assistant Sales Manager. This position will support sales activities for Japanese clients involved in infrastructure projects in Singapore, assisting with proposal preparation, client communication, and coordination with internal departments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Liaise with Japanese clients and contractors on project requirements to build trust and secure new business.

• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, tender documents, and contracts to drive efficient project acquisition.

• Manage new/ongoing project information and tender pipelines to strengthen the sales pipeline.

• Handle sales inquiries and foster long-term relationships with existing clients and partners.

• Monitor project progress including schedule, cost, quality, and regulatory compliance for customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with technical and operations teams to develop tailored technical solutions and strategies.

• Coordinate internal/external stakeholders to optimize resources and ensure efficient project delivery.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Mandatory

• Strong communication skills with flexibility for dynamic internal/external interactions.

• Business-level (intermediate or above) English proficiency is required to effectively communicate with both internal teams and external stakeholders. 

• Knowledge and experience in the construction industry.

Preferred/Advantageous

• Civil engineering degree or equivalent academic background.

• Sales experience within construction sector.

• Ability to conduct site visits within Singapore as needed.

• Prior experience in Singapore's construction market.

BENEFITS

• Monthly salary: S$6,000–8,500 (experience-based).

• Annual/Medical leave: 14 days each

• Transport: S$50/month

• Mobile: S$80/month.

   

• 9:00-17:30 (1hr break), weekends/public holidays off 

• 1-2 interviews (online OK)

• Probation period: 3 months
