Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

Our client is a leader in advanced analytical and measuring instruments, and their innovative solutions are pivotal for customers in diverse sectors across Singapore. They are expanding their sales team and seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development and increase sales volumes with existing and potential customers.
- Conduct engaging sales activities, including cold-calling, meetings, and presentations.
- Perform product demonstrations and showcase equipment capabilities to clients.
- Provide expert technical advice and support, guiding customers through product selection and quality assurance.
- Determine customer needs, recommend optimal specifications and solutions, and manage pricing.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams for pricing, scheduling, and technical requirements.
Qualifications:
Degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
At least 2 years of successful experience in sales, ideally within the Singapore market. Experience managing customers in academia, government, or chemical industries is a plus.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with laboratory managers, professors, PhD level scientists, and technicians.
Familiarity with CRM systems will be an advantage.
