JAC are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Data Scientist to work with a highly respected MNC.

The candidate shall operate as a technical lead, this role will be reporting into the AI Research Centre Head.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Data model creation, development, visualization, deployment & optimization
• Delivery of projects focused on smart factory optimization (linear & nonlinear programming, heuristic algorithms & stochastic processes)
• Driving research & publishing papers/articles with a core focus on smart factory optimization, autonomous driving & robotics.  
• Management of junior data professionals when required
• Deploying solutions focused on Machine Learning solutions via Big Data frameworks

Experience & Qualifications:
 

• Experience working as a Data Scientist with 4+ years of experience 
• Proficient in analyzing data, hands on coding and automating data handling through SQL, Python and R
• Experienced with ML technologies & strong experience working with large data sets (Big Data)
• Experienced Driving research & publishing papers/articles with a focus on smart factory optimization/industry 4.0, autonomous driving or robotics  
• A PhD, Masters or Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Economics, Statistics, Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent
