As they continue to expand their impressive portfolio of critical infrastructure projects, they are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead key initiatives and drive successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership & Planning: Lead and manage the entire project lifecycle from planning and initiation through execution, monitoring, control, and closure for M&E construction projects.
- Budget & Cost Control: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial targets are met and cost-efficiency is maintained.
- Schedule Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, tracking progress, identifying critical paths, and mitigating potential delays.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives.
- Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Risk & Quality Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies. Implement rigorous quality control procedures and ensure adherence to safety standards (including Japanese quality benchmarks).
- Contract Administration: Manage project contracts, variations, and claims, ensuring contractual obligations are met by all parties.
- Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Reporting: Provide regular and comprehensive project updates, progress reports, and financial forecasts to senior management and clients.
- Education: Diploma/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management within the M&E contracting industry, with a proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale data centre or commercial projects.
- Project Exposure: Demonstrable experience managing projects in sectors such as data centers, commercial developments, industrial facilities, or critical infrastructure is highly advantageous.
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of M&E systems, construction methodologies, and relevant Singapore building codes and regulations.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships.
- Certifications: PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to anticipate challenges, resolve issues proactively, and make sound decisions under pressure.
