SUMMARY
The project engineer supports implementation of events, exhibitions, permanent galleries, interiors, sports events, temporary infrastructures, or any brand activations. A Project Engineer oversees planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to a schedule. Their duties include upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Overall project planning, schedule and executing the delivery of projects within time, budget and Client’s expectations;
- Develop detailed planning to monitor and track progress;
- Manage changes to projects’ scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques;
- Perform risk management to eliminate potential project risks;
- Responsible for all site matters including and not limited safety and other compliance matters.
- Preparation of Progress Claim, Materials Submission, Risk Assessment, Method statement, Progress Report, Shop Drawings & As Built Drawings for projects
- Verify all shop drawings for discrepancies, buildability and impact on different disciplines; and ensure critical dimensions are highlighted; details are workable and coordinated with other trades.
- Provide technical advice to the project teams, consultants, clients with regard to building regulations.
- Follow up inspection and ensure compliance to all authorities’ code and requirement.
- Completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates; assist in tender submission when required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Min Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Civil) / Structural experience in related fields/ or equivalent.
- Excellent team player with ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in Design & Build Projects will be an added advantage.
- Familiar with design software like Revit, Rhino, AutoCAD will be an added advantages.
- Energetic, leadership, self-motivated, good problem-solving skills, positive attitude,
- Self-initiative and positive thinker
- Strong knowledge and experience in authorities’ requirements and permit submission will be an added advantage.
