Job Summary:
Our client is a prominent global IT service provider that excels in custom software design, IT consultancy, and infrastructure management. They deliver high-performance, large-scale systems like API Gateways and message queues, ensuring smooth global operations and enhanced system reliability. Their comprehensive IT solutions help businesses eliminate challenges, optimize resources, and boost productivity.
They are in search for an experienced IT Project Manager (Security / Cloud-Service Infrastructure) to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage project budgets, including closing periods and yearly budgeting/forecasting.
- Accurately allocate and manage project resources.
- Prepare and manage internal proposals before sharing them with customers.
- Support PMO checks as needed.
- Manage relationships with business partners and vendors.
- Handle customer relationships as necessary.
- Escalate and report major project issues to managers.
- Provide daily reports to managers covering budgets, resources, and project schedules.
- Conduct daily team management tasks and hold team meetings as a mandatory duty.
Experience & Skills Required:
At least a Bachelor's degree in any field.
Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
Proven track record in managing IT infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated ability and desire to adapt to new technologies.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with cloud services, networks, on-premises systems, facilities, software, and hardware technologies is advantageous.
Experience with security or cloud service infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
Willingness to travel when assigned to projects.
Knowledge of On-Premises/Cloud/Network/Server systems for project cost estimation purposes is desirable.
Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Japanese is as there is a need to support Japan market.
