Due to a global expansion need, we are currently looking for an IT Infrastructure Manager to be based in Singapore.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of IT Infrastructure Manager involves the supervision of the IT infrastructure's development, deployment, upkeep, and enhancement for a digital bank. This position demands proficiency in cloud technologies, management of hardware/data centers, handling of vendors, and a deep insight into the digital banking sector's specific needs.

Core Duties:

• Work with stakeholders to create and execute a plan for the bank's IT infrastructure that is secure, scalable, and dependable.
• Oversee the bank's cloud-based resources, focusing on the selection, implementation, and refinement of cloud services essential for the bank's digital offerings.
• Manage the acquisition, setup, and maintenance of hardware, including networking and security devices.
• Ensure the effective management of the bank's servers, network systems, databases, and cloud solutions, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and security.
• Formulate strategies for disaster recovery and business continuity to guarantee quick recovery of IT systems after disruptions.
• Oversee hardware suppliers and cloud service providers, ensuring adherence to contracts and service standards.
• Track and evaluate infrastructure performance, plan for scalability, and anticipate future needs.
• Work alongside the security team to enforce stringent security protocols, manage vulnerabilities, and meet regulatory standards.
• Lead the charge in resolving infrastructure issues, collaborating with both internal and external parties to reduce downtime and business impact.
• Seek out enhancements in processes, automation, and IT infrastructure efficiency to reduce costs and improve service.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8-12 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure, with a preference for backgrounds in banking or financial services.
• Certifications and practical experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), DevSecOps, and infrastructure coding practices.
• Direct experience with IT hardware, data center operations, and networking.
• Knowledge in disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
• Skills in managing vendors and ensuring service quality.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong capabilities in IT architecture design, communication, and leadership.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting and juggle various tasks.
• A background in banking is considered beneficial
