JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


 

• Support automation maintenance team in performing regular preventive/corrective/ predictive /conditions based / ad hoc / reliability centred based maintenance on storage systems, equipment, and packaging machines that would ensure optimal operation with minimal disruption to supply chain’s operation.
• Support Automation Maintenance Lead on complex diagnostics and repair malfunctioning complex logistics and packaging equipment.
• Support installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of storage systems and packaging equipment in project phase as team representative.
• Support automation team in maintaining industrial control systems for automated equipment ( Software / hardware)
• Deep Dive and Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend changes in designs, tolerances, or processing methods.
• Provide engineering support for the modifications of robotic and automation systems.
• Work closely with operations and automation teams to ensure that all automation equipment and processes meet safety standards and comply with company policies.
• Support in prepare reports about system performance and breakdowns from technicians, for management.
• To be able to support Automation Maintenance Lead and technicians in identifying and resolving process related issues.
• Work with Team to formulate work instructions / safety risk assessment / Continuous improvement projects.
• Ability to calculate and identify bottlenecks in process flow to prevent bottlenecks and formulate backup plans with the operations team as a preventive measure.

• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS



 

• Bachelor Degree in Automation/ Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
• At less 3 years’+ experience in control engineer/ commissioning or bring along 3 to 5 years experience in providing after service.
• Familiar with Siemens PLC/ Alen Brandly/ HMI or SCADA  
• Good communication skillset and able to written and oral
• Advantages in WMS/WCS systems in the market
• Good if come with with supplier management experience (experience in guiding installation and debugging, renovations, etc.)
