Our client is MNC company who providing world class audiovisual, content management, and image processing technologies company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide quality technical support to the Southeast Asia sales team/Consultants, Partners and end-users, handling general to complex field engineering assignments with limited supervision throughout Southeast Asia.
- Resolve pre (if required) and post sales technical issues in a timely manner; implement interim solutions, if necessary, and escalate outstanding issues to Technical Service Manager for resolution.
- Maintain high quality standards and performance of company equipment/products in all venues. May assist with the installation, calibration, trouble shooting, commissioning and repair of equipment.
- Train partners and customer liaisons in the proper use of the company’s products, systems, tools and test equipment required for optimal performance.
- Ensure all information relating to a specific project is kept up to date on the server. Prepare or assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports and training material including completing Service Work Order documentation.
- Support region exhibition activities and product demonstrations.
- Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Technical Service Manager from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field of study.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experiences in installing and repairing AV equipment and/or providing technical support to customers.
- Good project management skills, understanding of customer requirements and relationships, and customer workflow in different industries.
- Experience in projector technology to include necessary tools, software, optics, and projector setup in the field.
- Knowledge of Anti-Static Controls and Networks (IP configuration, VLANS, gateways and etc).
- Meticulous, organised, and resourceful.
- An initiative-taker who can work independently on a day-to-day basis and able to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proficient in MS office applications and able to write technical reports.
- Certified Technology Specialists (Audio Visual & Network) and knowledge of JD Edwards/Oracle system would be an added advantage.
- Ability to travel within Southeast Asia and Internationally on need basis.
