Cybersecurity Engineer (Threat Hunting)

COMPANY OVERVIEW
Our client is a Singapore based security solution provider. Due to high demand in the market, they are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer specialize in Threat Hunting to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct threat hunting activities and detect indicators of threat activities within clients' technology environments.
• Perform digital forensic preservation, legal documentation, and electronic discovery for incidents and investigations.
• Assist in developing proactive threat hunting tactics, techniques, and procedures using available information sources.
• Identify and document Indicators of Compromise (IoCs) and research threats, vulnerabilities, and intelligence on threat actors.
• Utilize analytics platforms to identify threats in information repositories.
• Conduct threat research to identify potential threat vectors and collaborate with relevant teams to improve prevention and detection methods.
• Identify gaps in measurement metrics, telemetry, and logging capabilities and propose enhancement strategies.
  Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on threat intelligence sharing and analysis.

Requirements

• Diploma's or Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field. 
• Proven experience (1 -5 years) in in threat hunting, incident response handling, and digital forensics investigations
• Experience in consulting and ability to work with clients.
• Experience in providing expert witness testimonials.
• Proficiency in data analysis, log analysis, and reverse malware analysis.
• Knowledge of Singapore Law, regulations, and policies.
• Flexibility, initiative, and innovation in dealing with fast-paced situations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Proficiency in forensic toolkits (e.g., EnCase Forensics, FTK Forensics) and reverse malware engineering tools (e.g., IDA Pro).
