Business Development Manager, General Insurance
One of the major general insurance company is looking for a manager to lead the team in terms of developing accounts and a strong relationship with the partners. Some of your job scope include:
YOUR NEW JOB SCOPE
- Building and enhancing the working relationship with channel partners, banking partners, intermediaries and brokers/FAs
- Review renewals and open new business with existing clients
- Involve in new marketing projects and leading in analytics for sales performance
- Underwrite cases and handle escalated cases from junior members of the team
- Supervise and guide the team in handling clients or intermediaries
- Reporting and advising of senior management on direction of business and offer recommendations
REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma/Degree in Business Studies or related field
- Full Certificate in General Insurance is mandatory for licensing requirements
- Prior underwriting and supervisory experience is preferred
- Candidate is expected to lead a team of min 3 members, with dotted reports.
