Committed to precision, safety, and client satisfaction, they are expanding their team and seeking a dedicated ACMV Engineer to contribute to their ongoing success in cutting-edge projects.
Key Responsibilities
- System Design & Engineering: Review and contribute to the design of ACMV systems, including calculations, equipment selection, and drawing review, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulatory standards.
- Project Execution & Supervision: Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of ACMV systems on-site, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines and budget.
- Technical Coordination: Liaise closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, and other internal engineering disciplines (electrical, plumbing) to ensure seamless project integration.
- Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Provide technical expertise to resolve complex ACMV system issues during installation, commissioning, and defects liability periods.
- Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure all ACMV works comply with local codes, industry standards (e.g., SS, ASHRAE), and company quality management systems.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and project documentation.
- Cost & Resource Management: Assist in budget control, material procurement planning, and resource allocation for ACMV-related activities.
- Innovation & Efficiency: Contribute to identifying and implementing energy-efficient ACMV solutions, particularly for data centre environments.
- Education: Diploma/Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience as an ACMV Engineer, preferably within an M&E contracting firm.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC system design principles, control systems, and relevant Singapore building codes and standards.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and engineering calculation tools.
- Project Exposure: Experience with large-scale projects in sectors such as data centres, industrial facilities, or commercial buildings will be highly advantageous.
- Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.
