Japanese Logistics Company looking to hire a person to take on the role of accounting and taxation (general manager level)
Job Description
-Financial accounting (monthly, quarterly, standalone and consolidated accounts, audit).
-Streamlining accounting processes/rules/policies/systems and improving tax management.
-Taxation (Singapore, shipping, international including transfer pricing, shareholder relations, etc.)
-Organising accounting and taxation matters for new businesses and M&A, internal consultancy and project support.
-Management of accounting and taxation team members, guidance and training.
-Compliance with accounting standards, etc.
Job Requirements
-Accounting and tax practice experience
-At least 7 years management or similar experience
-Knowledge of IFRS, ERP
-Business level or above English/Japanese language skills (for dealing with external and internal stakeholders and the Japanese parent company)
-Knowledge of accounting systems (SAP preferred)
-Knowledge of accounting systems (SAP preferred)
-CPA or similar accounting and tax qualifications are a plus.
-Knowledge and experience of M&A,CFC taxation, and BEPS, CIT, GST and WHT etc are welcomed
