Our client a well-established leader and A1 main contractor in the civil engineering and construction industry, known for delivering high-quality projects across infrastructure, building, and specialized engineering sectors. As they continue to drive growth and expansion, they are now seeking a Senior Technical Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities
Support both the technical and construction teams on all design-related matters to ensure seamless project execution.
Review and validate all technical documentation and engineering drawings to uphold quality and compliance standards.
Collaborate closely with consultants on scope of services, design development, and project deliverables to enhance site efficiency and constructability.
Manage the design approval process, coordinating with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues efficiently and on time.
Ensure all designs strictly adhere to contractual and safety requirements.
Proactively identify potential risks or technical challenges that could impact project performance and communicate solutions to the project team.
Assist the tender team in preparing detailed technical tender documents in accordance with project specifications for civil and structural engineering bids.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design and build civil engineering projects.
- PE board recognized Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Strong technical review skills and project coordination experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to facilitate effective cross-disciplinary collaboration.
