Committed to precision, safety, and client satisfaction, they are expanding their team and seeking a dedicated Project Engineer, Fire Protection Services to contribute to their ongoing success in cutting-edge projects.
Key Responsibilities
Overseeing daily site activities and ensuring seamless project execution in accordance with plans and specifications.
Coordinating all technical changes with main contractors, consultants, other MEP trades, and subcontractors.
Monitoring project progress, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and strict adherence to safety standards on site.
Preparing comprehensive project documentation, including method statements, progress reports, and essential updates.
Conducting regular site inspections to ensure full compliance with local codes and regulations, particularly the SCDF Fire Code.
Leading and communicating effectively with Site Coordinators and Site Supervisors regarding all on-site technical matters.
Planning and coordinating the testing & commissioning (T&C) of various fire protection systems.
Supporting the Project Manager with planning, scheduling, and efficient troubleshooting of any site-related issues.
Key Requirements
Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Experience: Proven relevant experience in fire protection projects within Singapore.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of the SCDF Fire Code and other local authority requirements is essential.
System Exposure: Hands-on experience with the installation and T&C of fire alarm, sprinkler, hydrant, hose reel, and gas suppression systems.
Skills: Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
