About the Quality Assurance Engineer (In Process Food Safety) Role:
A global food-nutrition manufacturer is looking for Quality Assurance Engineer. Provides support and inputs to update Food Safety Policy and site HACCP. Also, to provide support to the manufacturing organization to facilitate the efficient operations within the production area.
A global food-nutrition manufacturer is looking for Quality Assurance Engineer. Provides support and inputs to update Food Safety Policy and site HACCP. Also, to provide support to the manufacturing organization to facilitate the efficient operations within the production area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead food safety risk assessment and quality record (QR) escalation according to Global GMP lifecycle policy\
- Collaborate with Operations to track critical parameters and address escalations
- Manage GMP food safety engineering/validation for regulated product production
- Lead facility and equipment projects, ensuring compliance with Gold Standard Policies
- Investigate quality events, implement CAPA actions, and ensure effectiveness
- Train and develop employees for food safety program
- Conduct incident reviews and recommend process improvements
- Optimize documentation for quality systems and food safety protocols
- Maintain audit-ready plant Food Safety documentation
- Ensure effective resource utilization for quality product manufacturing
- Ensure compliance with Corporate and Divisional Policies
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings
- Partner with Engineering for equipment installation and maintenance
- Develop qualification and validation protocols
- Interface with departments and suppliers to address root causes
To be successful as a quality assurance engineer, focus on meticulous attention to detail, continuous process improvement, effective communication, and a commitment to ensuring products meet or exceed quality standards.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Food Science
- Biotechnology/Microbiology or in related discipline or with a minimum 1-4 years of related experience
- Knowledge of SAP system/POMS/MES
- Understanding of food microbiology, pathogens, and safety
- Ability to make quick decisions and react efficiently
- Understanding of engineering principles and practices
