OVERVIEW
Recruitment for an HR Manager / Senior Manager at a major Japanese company.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing and implementing HR systems and policies
Leading initiatives to improve operational efficiency, especially within back-office functions such as payroll
Driving next-generation leadership development projects, including laying the groundwork to cultivate future project leaders
Collaborating with international branches in Japan and the Global Business Division, and reporting accordingly
Managing the HR department (approximately 6 staff members), with a focus on back-office operations
Handling ad-hoc tasks as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
3+ years of experience as an HR Manager or in a more senior HR role in a mid-to-large-sized organization
Proven track record in leading operational improvements in back-office functions, as well as HR planning and talent development
Experience in HR strategy formulation, system design, and process improvement projects
Business-level or higher English proficiency (required for internal and external communication)
Business-level or higher Japanese proficiency (required for internal and external communication)
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
Expected salary: Around S$8,000–12,000 (commensurate with experience)
Annual Leave: Starts at 14 days
Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (primarily office-based)
