OVERVIEW
Recruitment for an HR Manager / Senior Manager at a major Japanese company.

 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designing and implementing HR systems and policies

  • Leading initiatives to improve operational efficiency, especially within back-office functions such as payroll

  • Driving next-generation leadership development projects, including laying the groundwork to cultivate future project leaders

  • Collaborating with international branches in Japan and the Global Business Division, and reporting accordingly

  • Managing the HR department (approximately 6 staff members), with a focus on back-office operations

  • Handling ad-hoc tasks as required

     


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience as an HR Manager or in a more senior HR role in a mid-to-large-sized organization

  • Proven track record in leading operational improvements in back-office functions, as well as HR planning and talent development

  • Experience in HR strategy formulation, system design, and process improvement projects

  • Business-level or higher English proficiency (required for internal and external communication)

  • Business-level or higher Japanese proficiency (required for internal and external communication)

     


ADDITIONAL DETAILS

  • Expected salary: Around S$8,000–12,000 (commensurate with experience)

  • Annual Leave: Starts at 14 days

  • Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (primarily office-based)
