JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide customer support and handle phone inquiries during office hours and on-call after hours.
- Respond to daily service requests, equipment breakdowns, and assist the marketing team with service support.
- Perform preventive maintenance on medical equipment under maintenance contracts.
- Support sales activities by preparing for and attending workshops, events, surgical procedures, seminars, and exhibitions.
- Communicate with Japan Service Department for advanced troubleshooting and technical guidance.
- Review and implement Engineering Change Notices and Technical Service Recalls issued by Japan.
- Attend to breakdown calls for MS equipment (e.g., General X-ray, Portable X-ray, Laser Printer, Digital Mammography, Digital Fluoroscopy) and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
- Carry out new installations of MS equipment and resolve complex start-up issues.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend equipment upgrades and service contracts to meet customer needs.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering fields.
- Knowledge of DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communication in Medicine – ISO 12052 standard).
- Familiarity with HL7 standards for electronic health information exchange and integration.
- Understanding of RIS (Radiology Information Systems) and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems).
