SENIOR PRICING MANAGER
A leading multinational electronics manufacturer is looking for a high caliber Senior Pricing Manager to be part of their high-performing team here in Singapore.
About the Role:
Your main responsibility is to develop and execute pricing strategy through collaboration with various key departments. You will also continuously enhance the pricing process to service customers, resulting in increased sales and profit for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Run and manage the quoting operations of responding to field sales and customers RFQs.
- Develop pricing strategy across various product lines to position the products based on value and competitive situation, including price changes.
- Develop Methodology for calculating List Price, Price Floor, Price ceiling for various product lines within various market segments in relation to the value including developing new tools for costing.
- Identify leakage buckets within Price waterfall and find ways to increase profit.
- Develop Price band analysis and find ways to improve profit.
- Develop, lead, manage the pricing process while ensuring compliance by controlling the exemption process.
- Support sales in negotiations of terms and conditions on contracts with customers, channel partners.
To succeed in this role, you must have extensive experience and a subject matter expert in Pricing.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Engineering, Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent. MBA preferred.
- Experience within a Semiconductor is compulsory*
- Minimum 5 years of pricing/accounting experience in semiconductor/ electronics component industries
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills to drive decision-making
- Understanding of Cost Accounting and Statistics preferred
- Good knowledge of ERP/various IT systems and performing ETL (extract, transform, load data from various IT systems)
