Senior DevSecOps Engineer

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a leading technology solutioning firm in Asia, specializing in providing comprehensive cyber solutions, AI and cloud services. The company focuses on protecting critical information assets and infrastructure for clients across various industries, utilizing cutting-edge technology and a team of highly skilled cybersecurity experts. Our client is looking for a Senior Cloud and DevSecOps Engineer.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
 

• Provide extensive expertise in DevOps methodologies and tools, focusing on architecture for both on-site and cloud-based project implementation (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, UIPath, Jenkins, Git, CodeCommit, Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Promote the integration of DevOps and Automated processes, ensuring adherence to version control and streamlined procedures.
• Establish a DevOps platform aligned with best practices, shaping a continuous delivery pipeline while adhering to the security needs of client environments.
• Collaborate closely with project leaders to assimilate current procedures, challenges, and requirements for the integration of DevOps practices in various critical areas (such as Application Delivery, Application Integration, Infrastructure as Code, Security Assessment, and Remediation).
• Evaluate, organize, and prioritize project delivery needs.
• Create and refine playbooks, automation scripts, and workflows for discussions and recommendations, aiming to fulfill delivery objectives in agile sprints.
• Design, test, and implement foundational structures to support project teams in adopting DevOps for specified project requirements.
• Mentor and instruct project engineers in implementing and sustaining DevOps practices during project operations.
• Manage and update the DevOps technology stack for both practice and training purposes (e.g., GIT, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, UIPath).
• Actively research emerging DevSecOps trends, practices, and technologies to stay ahead of market evolution.
• Keep a proactive interest in cybersecurity solutions and their delivery methods to clients.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 

• A degree in Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading technical teams and requirements as a technical lead.
• At least 3 years of experience with proficiency in DevOps and automation technologies.
• Demonstrable experience in architecture and delivery for at least three of the following technologies or similar: Ansible, Chef, Puppet, UIPath, Jenkins, Git, CodeCommit, Terraform, Packer, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift.
• Strong experience with Linux and Unix operating systems.
• Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence for influencing decisions, resolving conflicts, and building consensus.
• Proven ability to work effectively with individuals at all organizational levels.
• Adaptability in ambiguous and complex environments, with a knack for decision-making and resolving impediments.
