A new headcount for Sales Manager has just been created within our client in the semiconductor/ electronic materials industry here in Singapore. This is due to the business expansion and succession planning that they have crafted for the sales department.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development, sales, and marketing activities for Package Substrates (BGA, Flip‑Chip BGA)
- Manage Design‑In and Design‑Win processes, including project qualification and mass‑production timelines
- Engage customers to understand technical and commercial needs and deliver tailored solutions
- Analyze product capabilities, manufacturing processes, and market trends to shape sales strategy
- Collaborate cross‑functionally across teams and cultures to ensure effective execution
Required Competencies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and the language of the supporting market such as Korean Language to liaise with customers in South Korea.
- Strong customer‑facing communication skills in a professional environment
- Sound judgment with effective problem‑solving and analytical ability
- Ability to deliver persuasive presentations to customers and internal stakeholders
- Effective time management to balance short‑term targets and long‑term goals
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales experience in semiconductor, packaging, or passive components industries
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or related disciplines
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and organizational levels
- Experience working with diverse cultural and international teams
- Demonstrated track record in business development and account management
