Working in Japan A renewable energy company is looking for an offshore wind project manager!
Job Title/ Roll: Project Manager
You will be responsible for developing relationships with fishermen, local stakeholders and government agencies to promote the project.
You will be responsible for the development and implementation of a range of projects, including but not limited to
Planning of onshore and offshore surveys (wind surveys, geological surveys, fishery and environmental surveys) necessary for commercialization studies, and consultation, coordination, and agreement with fishery, regional, and government officials for implementation.
Consultations, coordination, and agreement with fishery, regional, and government officials in order to have the project area designated as a "Promotion Area" under the Act on the Utilization of the Sea for Renewable Energy.
Requirements
Experience in management of internal and external parties (including engineering companies) based on technical background
You will have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of communication skills.
Experience in managing the progress of complex projects
Strong interest in renewable energy and offshore wind power.
Strong interest in renewable energy and offshore wind power, or strong interest in fishery promotion and regional revitalization through offshore wind power.
Strong interest in renewable energy and offshore wind power generation, or strong interest in fisheries development and regional revitalization through offshore wind power generation - Native Japanese or equivalent language skills (required for internal and external communication)
