Our client, a Japan focused hedge fund, is looking for a Fund Operations Manager in Singapore.
Responsibilities
MAS Regulatory Matters
Handling matters related to OTC derivatives transactions
Responding to regulatory and industry surveys
Investor Relations
Explaining operational processes to investors (DDQ meetings)
Responding to due diligence questionnaires (DDQs)
Fund Operations
Managing day-to-day transaction-related operations
Supporting monthly fund valuation processes (NAV calculations)
Japanese Regulatory Compliance
Preparing and submitting various regulatory filings and reports in accordance with Japanese laws and regulations
Audit Coordination (Fund / Company Level)
Managing and coordinating audit processes, including responses to auditors
Administration
Performing a broad range of administrative and operational support tasks
Requirements
Professional working proficiency both in English and Japanese in order to liaise with Japanese speaking stakeholders.
Prior experience working in fund management, asset management, securities firms, or related financial institutions is highly preferred
Strong MS office skills especially Excel
Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
