About the Construction Manager Role:
A MNC plant engineering company has an opening for a Construction Manager (CM) in order to support Japanese MD. In this position, as CM, you will be expected to manage/lead about cost, quality, process, transparency and information, mainly by communicating with both the client and company.
Jobs Responsivities:
- Manage/lead the day-to-day operations in the organization to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of project execution
- Determine and mitigate project-related risks and ensure that the strategy is progressing without delay.
- Foster collaboration between different departments, such as EPC departments and finance, to ensure seamless project execution and contribute to the overall development of the organization.
- Develop KPIs and indicators to monitor the performance of projects, operations and commercial activities.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve business processes, outputs to project execution and overall organizational efficiency.
- Negotiate with internal and external stakeholders, such as customers, contractors and regulatory bodies, to ensure transparency and consistency in operations and project execution.
- Allocate and manage budgets for projects and various activities, contributing to the achievement of financial targets while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in working with oil and gas projects minimum of 7 years
- Strong team management and leadership skills.
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project management skills such as time management, project budgeting, resource management and project scheduling.
