Application Specialist

• To provide on-site user application supports
• To assist sales personnel in terms of products knowledge and applications, from presales to the end of the cycle and after sales supports
• Demonstrations
• Technical discussions
• Propose total solutions in relevant fields.
• Applications training: Presentation on technology relevant to instrumentation prior to hands-on section
• Hands-on training: Hardware and software
• Troubleshooting
• To hold user meetings, workshops, seminars to update products information.
• To troubleshoot issues related to instruments, software, reagents and experiments.
• To connect and integrate available or customize technologies to cater customers’ needs, take lead in scientific discussions, analyze their needs and match them with our offering products.
• Support sales team in order to achieve growth target as a team.
• Preparation of technical documents and reports.
• Manage demo lab and ensure good laboratory practices: demo instruments, facilities and chemical inventory.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Master / PhD in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Microbiology, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Chemical Science, Chemical Engineering, Material Science or related disciplines
• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience of scientific equipment operation and troubleshooting as well as laboratory inventory management.
• Team player with a great attitude
• Willing to learn and involve actively in pre-sales market survey and business development.
• Sense and interpersonal skills of customer relationship.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, changing environment.
• Demonstrate ability to handle work professionally, independently, and efficiently.
