JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Promote collaboration with headquarters, branches, product offices, other divisions and partner banks.
Collaborate with colleagues across divisions to gather materials for business strategy development, and partner with the head office to promote business initiatives throughout the APAC region
Develop and maintain strong stakeholder management with key stakeholders
Comprehend customer business needs, creating diverse presentation materials and reports.
Review and contribute insights to startup-related initiatives and promotional materials pitched to customers by the team.
Liaise with external consultants and the respective countries’ investment promotion board and internal departments (Compliance, Legal) for updates on local regulatory requirements in relation to business establishment in the country.
Work with internal and external Subject Matter Experts to analyze business trends in M&A, JV, start-ups, and ESG.
Evaluate the impact and communicate changes promptly to Head Office and Relationship Managers.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 7 years of relationship management experience in the corporate banking / M&A / Consulting / financial institutions industry
Minimum JLPT N1 Certification, Degree in Japanese university or equivalent is required to manage relationship with Japanese clients and head office based in Tokyo to promote business initiatives across APAC region
Experience in covering Banking products and services.
Strong understanding of local/regional financial laws and regulations.
Experience in regional markets would be an added advantage
Strong stakeholder management skills.
Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
Strong communication skills with ability to influence others using data or analysis to support line of reasoning
