A semiconductor testing equipment company is looking for an experienced Application Engineer to take care of their Silicon Photonics (SiPh) testing solution in Asia.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead SiPh projects management
Local expert in SiPh testing requirement/technical trend and market information
Lead technical communication and strategy alignment with US headquarter
Be the technical bridge with customers to approach potential opportunities to win business with Sales
Present SiPh testing solution to engage new customers/new projects opportunity with Sales team
Responsible for Day-to-day customers SiPh testing equipment application/service operation activity
Responsible for SiPh testing solution delivery, customer issue support, and internal escalation summary preparation.
Support customer engagement and possible demo activity.
Co-work with different colleagues to solve customer issue and provide suitable SiPh testing solution to customers.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor/Master of Science / Physics with specialization in Optical Engineering / SiPh, or similar level of experience or background.
Min 3 - 5 years’ experience of RF/DC wafer testing environment setup/debug is required for the role.
Min 3 - 5years Hands-On experience with Probe system tool preferred
Basic knowledge of laser fiber operating/principle preferred
DOE setup capability as problem solving technique preferred.
Working experience in Equipment Vendor or RD/HVM Fab preferred
Fluent in English verbal/email/report communication.
Project management experience
Capability of working with different levels of colleagues include management, sales and Global Team.
"Can-do" mentality toward technical obstacle, logical thinking of problem-solving technique.
