OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Procurement Manager for a food service company operating Japanese food businesses in Singapore and other Southeast Asian countries. You will oversee procurement strategies and management for a company with over 50 outlets.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Team management
-Sourcing new suppliers and strengthening relationships with existing suppliers
-Improving procurement processes for cost reduction and quality enhancement
-Analyzing market trends and price fluctuations, risk management
-Collaborating with internal departments (sales, product development, store operations, etc.) to build optimal procurement systems
-Ensuring compliance in procurement contracts and the overall supply chain
-Preparing regular performance reports and reporting to management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
-Experience in procurement, purchasing, or sales in the food or restaurant industry
-Management experience (supervising a team of 5 or more)
-Skills in supply chain management, cost control, and vendor negotiation
-Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (for supplier communication)
-Logical thinking and business planning skills
BENEFITS
-Working hours: 9:00–18:00
-Salary: S$5,000–7,000 (depending on experience)
