Mobile SDK/Integration Engineer (1 Year Contract)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is a prominent player in the video game industry, known for developing, publishing, and distributing interactive entertainment for consumers. The company is recognized for some of the most critically acclaimed and commercially successful game franchises. These include a series set in a dynamic open world with deep storytelling and an iconic action-adventure series known for its complex narratives and immersive gameplay. These titles have set industry records for sales and have a dedicated fan base. Presently we are looking for a Mobile and SDK Integration Engineer to be based in our client’s Singapore office on 1 year contract.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to Head of Technology, Mobile, you will:

• Serve as an intermediary for various external development partners in China, providing support for tooling and integration.
• Promptly address technical requirements, whether related to access, knowledge, design, or troubleshooting.
• Determine the most effective ways to incorporate partner feature requests into our existing technological framework.
• Keep abreast of multiple projects, collaborating with different teams including, but not limited to, product leads, QA, Customer Support, and other Company groups.
• Develop and continuously improve a range of internal and external tools, like SDKs and back-end services, to deliver high-quality and engaging mobile games.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 4 to 7 years of development experience in the mobile sector, with a comprehensive understanding of the mobile environment.
• Intermediate skills in Obj-C/Swift and Java/Kotlin.
• At least 3 years of experience working with Unity (using C#) or Unreal (using C++).
• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science-related field or equivalent professional experience.
• A strong enthusiasm for gaming.
• A proven track record of eagerly learning new technologies and skills.
• Business level proficiency in Mandarin is essential for collaboration with our Development and Publishing Partners in China.

Additional Qualifications:

• Ability to evaluate problems from various perspectives to develop simple, scalable, and elegant solutions.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities with a focus on customer service.
• Experience in developing mobile SDKs that have been incorporated into live products.
• Experience in building on or integrating with cloud infrastructure like AWS or GCP.
• Familiarity with web frameworks such as Node/React/Angular.
• Understanding of software build, test, and deployment processes using CICD tools like Git, Jenkins, or Docker/containers.
