Merchant Services Product Manager

Due to a global expansion need, we are currently looking for a Merchant Services Product Manager to be based in Singapore.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Formulate a robust strategy for the merchant services portal, considering current market dynamics, customer demands, and organizational goals. Pinpoint essential features and functions that will elevate the merchant experience and encourage wider use.
• Team up with engineering and design groups to establish product specifications, rank feature importance, and supervise the development trajectory. Guarantee the on-time release of superior quality updates.
• Craft and refine the user interface of the merchant services portal to be clear, accessible, and tailored to merchant requirements. Engage in user research and feedback collection to guide design and feature choices.
• Maintain close interaction with internal teams, such as sales, customer support, and business development, to assimilate their needs, understand merchant challenges, and ensure the product roadmap aligns with corporate objectives.
• Seek out and act on opportunities for collaboration with external entities and third-party services to augment the merchant services portal. Build and nurture partnerships to facilitate seamless integrations and provide additional value to merchants.
• Formulate market entry strategies and work with marketing departments to boost awareness and uptake of the merchant services portal. Keep track of usage statistics and feedback for ongoing improvement and heightened user engagement.
• Monitor and evaluate key performance metrics and user data to gauge product efficacy and pinpoint improvement areas. Utilize these insights for informed decision-making and to enhance the portal's user experience.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years in a Product Manager role or similar, with a preference for backgrounds in financial services or technology sectors. Prior experience in developing and overseeing web-based platforms is highly valued.
• Capacity to comprehend business needs and translate them into product functionalities and roadmaps. Exhibits strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for identifying opportunities and making decisions based on data.
• Profound knowledge of merchant requirements with a dedication to creating a portal that adds value, simplifies operations, and improves the merchant experience.
• Demonstrated ability in organization and project management, with a track record of steering product development, adhering to timelines, and managing various projects simultaneously.
