A global food-nutrition manufacturer is looking for Mechanical Engineer. Provides support and inputs to develop plant equipment preventive maintenance strategies and to troubleshoot breakdowns and implement preventive measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with reliability engineers to enhance equipment performance
- Manage maintenance costs and equipment upgrade budgets
- Mentor junior engineers and technicians
- Participate in equipment projects and support EHS and quality initiatives
- Oversee corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance activities
- Ensure compliance with safety and GMP procedures
- Support equipment qualification and validation processes
- Maintain maintenance records and execute work orders
- Author maintenance SOPs and investigate incidents
- Manage contractors and vendors
- Lead continuous improvement projects
- Contribute to budgeting and long-range planning efforts

Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, or related discipline
- 5-7 years of relevant manufacturing plant experience, preferably in packaging processes
- Strong communication, teamwork, and multitasking skills
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment and work independently
