JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Handling full set of accounts ensuring that all accounting entries and reports are done in accordance to the relevant accepted accounting principles set by both internal and external authorities such as MAS, ACRA, IRAS & etc.;
Preparing and submission of regular and ad-hoc reports for Management, Head Office (“HO”), Auditors, and relevant authorities such as MAS, ACRA, IRAS and etc. in a timely and orderly manner
Ensure accurate, timely and orderly completion and submission of all accounting reports and returns (including but not limited to MAS returns (new MAS 610, MAS 649 etc.), MAS Surveys, financial reports etc.);
Review, interpret and understanding regulations relating to MAS Notice 610, MAS Notice 649 and communicate the regulatory impact and action required to staff within the Department
To act as a checker of the data inputs in the Regulatory Returns to ensure that are prepared in accordance with the MAS Notices and Guidelines;
Proactively track the regulatory changes pertaining to the various Returns including MAS Notice 610, MAS Notice 649 and communicate the changes to the staff within the Department;
To communicate with and collaborate with other Departments when data inputs are required from them;
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in regulatory reporting in a bank in Singapore (MAS 610, MAS 649)
- At least 10 years of related work experience in a bank in Singapore. Preferably Team Lead experience.
