Our client is an Internet, Gaming & Payment organisation with a staff strength of close to 4,000 across 9 locations.

As part of their expansion plans, Singapore is their global HQ for global businesses & and communities, and they are actively hiring key leadership & and pioneering members to join their hub in Singapore. Amongst those key roles, Global Fraud Payment Expert is a critical function in which my client is looking to bring in quality local talents to take this on.
 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Global Fraud Payment Expert will be part of the Globalization team and contribute to developing top-tier Fraud prevention strategies.  You will engage in various game projects and business activities across different countries to safeguard the company's growth and avert revenue losses. We seek an experienced fraud expert with a profound grasp of online fraud, fraudster motivations, a data-driven approach, and enthusiasm for dynamic environments.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:
 
  • Engage in payment prevention initiatives, managing daily interactions with PSP/supplier channels, addressing payment risk incidents, combating interregional purchases, and navigating financial/legal/platform processes. This involves ensuring effective project management, coordination, and communication within internal and external teams.
  • Employ diverse and effective techniques to monitor, detect, and pinpoint incidents involving stolen cards and fraudulent activities.
  • Develop distinct player payment behavior tags, encompassing a variety of dynamic and static characteristics, timing patterns, risk networks, and geographic identification markers, etc.
  • Gain familiarity with the entire risk process in digital business contexts involving third-party payments, and devise and refine payment risk strategies for various business stages.
  • Aid in the creation of an early warning system using business data, risk parameters, and strategies.
  • Take charge of implementing payment business risk rules or models and oversee the routine operations of payment risk control strategies.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • A Bachelor's degree and substantial relevant experience in the card-acquiring sector.
  • Proficiency in SQL/Hive/Spark and other data analysis tools.
  • Expertise in common programming languages like Python/R is an advantage.
  • A strong sense of responsibility, along with excellent learning, time management, and execution skills.
  • A deep understanding of online payment businesses, industry regulations, trends, and strong data processing and analysis skills are preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
