Hiring Finance Specialist at a US Pharmaceutical Company
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver STS (Source to Settle) and OTC (Order to Cash) services for the Japan market, with potential support for other APAC regions
Manage STS tasks such as supplier onboarding, PO and invoice processing, employee expenses, and payment operations
Handle OTC activities including customer and credit maintenance, cash application, collections, and order management
Prepare accurate month-end closing for Japan and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls
Liaise with internal/external auditors and cross-functional teams; contribute to service level and KPI improvements
Support continuous process improvement and training initiatives; flexible to take on ad hoc tasks or job rotations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Open to candidates without prior STS/OTC experience
Business-level fluency in Japanese and English is essential * Necessary for internal/external communication
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred; ACA/ACCA/CPA is a plus
Strong understanding of accounting principles; SOX and audit experience preferred
Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; collaborative and culturally adaptable
Additional Information
Expected Salary:Around 4,000/ month ＋VB (around 10% of annual salary)
