Deputy Manager

Your New Company: A well-established and reputable maritime company headquartered in Singapore is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager to join its Ship Management Department. The company manages a modern fleet and is committed to operational excellence, safety, and long-term talent development.

Your New Role: As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the company’s fleet. You will work closely with internal departments, external partners, and clients to uphold high operational standards and support the company’s long-term strategic goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to ensure vessels meet all operational and performance expectations.

• Coordinate daily with internal departments (Operations, Accounts) and appointed ship managers to ensure smooth fleet operations.

• Plan and supervise dry-docking activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.

• Monitor vessel condition and ensure compliance with marine regulations and maintenance standards.

• Provide technical advice and operational insights to support decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• With a diploma or degree in a maritime-related field.

• 5–10 years of relevant experience in ship management or maritime operations.

• Strong interest in deepening knowledge of shipping and shipowner operations.

• Motivated to build a long-term career and grow within the organization.

• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and team collaboration skills.
