Assistant Manager, Network Security

• This role is critical to IT operations and the candidate to manage outsourced partners (MSSP) who delivers the Level 1, 2 support of Network security systems (Firewalls, Proxies & Secure Web Gateway (SWG) solutions). The candidate is responsible to oversee the MSSP BAU to meet SLA.
• The candidate will be the Level 3 engineer and handle the escalated cases and fix the issue related to Network Security systems.
• The candidate is responsible to Design, configure and implement Network security solutions such as firewalls, Proxies and SWG.
• Conduct regular security assessment and ensure the security systems are compliant to the vulnerability and CIS compliance standards.
• Moderate to high experience in Cyber security functions as the same team will also be responsible for Cyber security operations of the company.
• Manage security projects globally. Providing advisory and solutions for new security threats and vulnerabilities.
• Able to deliver and manage the projects been assigned with minimum guidelines.
• Managing Endpoint Detection Response (EDR) technologies and able to investigate the alerts.
• Experience managing the security incidents and provide remediations.
• Able to manage the security controls in the cloud and set plans to improve the gaps in cloud network.
• Strong knowledge on URL filtering, Email security and IPS technologies is mandatory.
• Experiences in understanding SIEM triage, threat intelligence platform will be highly valued.
• Knowledge with common attack patterns and exploitation techniques not limited to MITRE, Cyber Kill chain etc.
• Knowledge with Information security Frameworks such as MAS TRMG, NIST, CIS etc.
• Ability to respond to emergency on 24x7 basis where required.
• Ensuring Network security systems are compliance to security policies, follow the standard operating process (SOP) and ownership to periodic renewals.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Information Technology or relevant studies.
• Any certifications such as CEH, Palo Alto PCNSE or on any Security systems is mandatory.
• Experience in Palo Alto Firewall from BAU to Design, Implementation is mandatory.
• Experience in additional Security products such as FortiGate Firewalls and Secure Web Gateway (Netskope) will be added advantage.
• Any of the Cloud certification will be added advantages and must to have cloud security experience.
• Experience in few Microsoft Defender Security suit is mandatory.
• At least 8 years of experience in Network Security domain and managed BAU to Projects on high scale.
