Job Responsibilities
Handle full set of accounts for month-end and year-end closing.
AP – Reconciliation on suppliers’ statement of accounts, prepare payment vouchers, bank fund transfer/Cheque and Petty cash.
AP & AR – Reconciliation and monitoring aging report.
Reconciliation of Bank statement, credit card statements and balance sheet items
Liaise with auditors, bankers, and other external service providers.
Work with operating team on the collation and compilation of finance data and information.
Monthly cashflow report.
Filing of GST on quarterly basis.
Filing of Company Income tax (ECI).
To manage the Company’s financial affairs, including management and statutory accounts together with longer term financial projections and to ensure that the most efficient and effective financial control systems and reporting mechanisms are in place.
To prepare monthly management accounts and other relevant reports, in consultation with the Directors.
To prepare the year-end financial accounts for audit and to liaise with the Auditors prior to sign-off.
Maintain fixed assets register.
Job Requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office and MYOB.
Background with Japanese F&B and retail related business coupled with audit experience in accountancy firms is an added advantage.
At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Knowledge on implementation of new accounting system is an added advantage.
