Seeking a Growth-focused Sustainability Manager/Lead to spearhead ESG and sustainability services in an innovative, purpose-driven business. The role involves leading projects, ensuring service excellence, and contributing to team development within the Global Sustainability, Assessment & Assurance team. The position offers the chance to drive growth, engage with leading companies, and utilize digital technologies to deliver innovative solutions. Responsibilities include overseeing non-financial Report Assurance, ESG strategy, responsible sourcing, climate change services, Green Finance, and human rights projects.
Primary Duties:
• Proactively identify and cater to customer needs by creating customized solutions for new and existing clients.
• Effectively lead and communicate with both project teams and clients.
• Supervise a team of 2-3 sustainability assessors.
• Introduce your own discipline's services to new clients and propose new services to existing clients.
• Conduct independent assurance audits for clients' Sustainability/Integrated reports, following various reporting frameworks.
• Participate in independently assessing/verifying clients' sustainability indicators, covering environmental, social, and governance aspects.
• Contribute to the execution of ESG Assurance projects.
• Review and assess clients' net Zero Targets or Science-based Targets.
• Engage in materiality assessments, impact assessments, and review stakeholder engagements.
• Assist organizations in implementing TCFD recommendations, evaluating climate-related risks and opportunities, and facilitating the preparation of transparent disclosures for enhanced transparency.

• University Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Sustainability Studies.
• Additional certifications related to sustainability from GRI, SASB, BRSR, ISO 14064, etc., are advantageous.
• Demonstrated 7-10 years of expertise in delivering ESG & Sustainability services.
• Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills, emphasizing a first-principles problem-solving approach.
• Proven leadership in delivering Sustainability services as a trusted advisor and thought leader in ESG/sustainability.
• Track record as a project and/or team leader with a focus on delivering service excellence.
• Ability to offer guidance, support, and feedback to team members.
• Excellent communication and written skills, coupled with collaboration and cultural adaptability.
• Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally overseas.

• Deep knowledge of the regional ESG market.
• Strong leadership in project deliveries, ensuring on-time, on-budget results and high customer satisfaction.
• Flexibility in work hours and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
