Sonographer

• Carry out clinical imaging duties in ultrasound.
• Competent knowledge in O&G, Vascular, Abdominal scans as well as small parts.
• Always oversee the smooth operation of the ultrasound section and proper usage and care of equipment of the section.
• Ensure quality assurance programmes are implemented and observed as well as initiate system improvement within the section.
• Deliver accurate and speedy imaging outputs at all times.
• Handle entry and maintenance of patient data and proper documentation.
• Ensure efficient patient turnaround time per examination.
• Plan, organize and prioritize assigned tasks such that all are completed effectively and on time.
• Work closely with nurses and support staff to ensure patient care is met.
• Adhere to safe work practices especially safety and infection control.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma / Degree in Radiography / Sonography or Allied Health or Sciences
• At least 3 years of relevant experience and preferably registered with a valid AHPC practicing certificate.
• Possesses outgoing, positive, confident, meticulous and with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
