SHIPPING OPERATION EXECUTIVE
An established multinational O&G company in hiring for a Shipping Operation Executive to be based at their regional HQ here in Singapore. This is a newly created headcount due to business expansion, and it is an exciting opportunity to be part of the pioneer team in the department.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Shipping Manager, your main responsibility is to provide end to end operational support in managing ship operations and handling claims.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operations and administration of port clearance, bunkering and agent nomination.
- Monitoring of cargo readiness and coordinate with all involved parties efficiently.
- Submitting shipment advice and preparing maritime related data and documentation.
- Handling all claims related matters and ensuring compliances are met.
- Assist in managing funds transactions, freight invoicing, demurrage charges and accounts receivables.
To succeed in this role, you must have strong knowledge in shipping operations.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in shipping/ tanker operations role.
- Experience in LC application process and preparation of shipping documents
- Knowledge in Microsoft D365 is an added advantage
- Ability to travel overseas for business trip
