JAC are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Robotics Engineer to work with a highly respected MNC.

The candidate shall operate as a technical robotics lead, this role will be reporting into the Head of Robotics & Automation.  

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Develop computer vision technologies for real world applications (machine automation, detection, robotics, visual inspection etc)
• Work alongside the Robotics, Data & AI Research teams
• Designing, developing, documenting, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining software applications and integrated systems
• Transitioning applications to deployment with production quality CPU/GPU/FPGA code
• Following best practices for team software development 
• Developing, documenting, and applying software system testing, troubleshooting, and verification procedures

Experience & Qualifications: 

• 4+ years of professional experience is desired  
• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree or equivalent
• Experience implementing image processing/computer vision algorithms
• Knowledge of basic software engineering principals
• A strong background of practical applications & deep learning/machine learning for computer vision.
• Tools and technologies such as C++, Python, Linux, OpenCV, PCL, ROS, Boost, Eigen
• Research & publication experience with a focus on computer vision papers/articles (desired)
